Lee from Cable Guys Nottingham visited our two-floor penthouse on 4 March to assess installing Ethernet cabling between floors. Because our apartment sits in the roof space of a tall block, it quickly became clear that running cable internally wasn’t going to be a simple or cost-effective job.
Rather than just leaving it there, Lee went out of his way to help. He devised a temporary Ethernet solution that worked immediately, and also suggested a long-term alternative through a nationwide provider, which we installed successfully just two days later.
What impressed me most was that there was no charge for the visit, and no financial benefit to Lee for the solutions he suggested.
That is customer service at its very best. Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. I would strongly recommend Cable Guys Nottingham to anyone.

I highly recommend Cable Guys for all your aerial, alarm and camera fittings. I wouldn’t use anyone else. Lee came today to sort out my alarm access on my new phone. Nothing is too much trouble. Great service,

Cable Guys were the company used to install Starlink for us. Their communication to arrange an installation date was very quick and via a personal phone call with confirmation via email. Lee arrived promptly on the date arranged. He was very friendly and helpful. Very professional and happily managed to sort out a separate situation that we had with internet connectivity in our Summerhouse.
We now have decent internet connection - hurray.
We would highly recommend Cable Guys and we will definitely call them should we need any future work.

I recently moved to the Derby area and needed someone to install my Denon surround sound system. I found Cable Guys via Richer Sounds. Lee came and carried out the installation and did an exemplary job, and did a sterling job of concealing all my cables as well. I was particularly pleased with the time it took. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very tidy, taking great care with not only my equipment, but also my flat. If I need anything in the future, I won’t hesitate to contact them.

I highly recommended them to anyone who needs help or advice.

Troy wall-mounted my 86-inch TV and did an excellent job. He is very experienced, understood exactly what I wanted, and worked neatly and tidily. A genuine professional — highly recommended. Thanks heaps again.

So neat and tidy. He is quite clearly very conscientious and I really appreciated him asking for my opinion on where I wanted wires etc placing. I’m so happy with the end result, its just how I envisaged it.
