With the 17th Edition of the BS:7671 Wiring Regulations coming into force from 1st June 2008 many things have changed with the requirements for electrical work.
Before work can be carried out on an existing circuit or electrical installation it must comply with the latest regulations. Unfortunately, with the latest regulations this can mean replacing the consumer unit, which can be a significant expense.
If you want us to quote for any electrical work we will have to visit your property to assess your existing electrical system. Depending on the extent of the work required we may have to perform a Periodic Inspection and Test to determine the full condition of the system before we can accurately quote. |
